Lincolnshire launches resilience website

The Lincolnshire Resilience Forum (LRF) has set up a website to inform the public of local risks

  • Kable,

It includes information compiled locally and nationally on issues such as animal diseases, flooding, flu, loss of utilities and transport accidents.

The site also includes advice on how to prepare, details of voluntary groups that contribute to the resilience effort. The LRF said it easy to navigate and has log in areas for members and partner organisations to access documents for working.

Richard Crompton, chief constable of Lincolnshire Police and chair of the LRF, said: "The new website makes it easier for people to get the information they need to make sure that they themselves are as prepared as they can be. It will also enable the LRF organisations to share information in a convenient place, to build on the excellent foundation of partnership working we have developed in Lincolnshire in our emergency response."

The LRF is made up of organisations with a role in responding to emergencies, including the local police, fire and rescue, ambulance service, the county council, all seven district councils and local utilities.
